At St. Hugh’s, we regularly organise fundraising efforts to support those in need. Our families and children consistently show incredible generosity and enthusiasm in contributing to these important causes. Their compassion and dedication truly reflect the spirit of our community. Their generosity and dedication to helping others in need continue to make a positive impact in our community.

World Food Day

In of ‘World Food Day,’ we came together to raise funds for the international charity Malawi Foster Care, which provides support to vulnerable children in Malawi. As part of our efforts, we held an ‘Own Clothes Day,’ encouraging everyone to dress casually for a donation. Additionally, we collected all our spare change and coppers, with every penny going toward supporting the charity’s vital work in providing food, care, and education for children in need.

We raised a total of £295.94 through being kind. This will feed 11 children from Malawi Foster Care for three months!

Good Shepherd and Asylum Link

Staff generously donated a huge number of Easter eggs for our annual raffle, and the children raised a wonderful £90 for Good Shepherd and £90 for Asylum Link.
Fabulous work, St. Hugh’s! Your kindness and hard work continue to make a real difference!

CAFOD

We proudly took part in the Big Lent Walk and raised an incredible £170 for CAFOD! A huge well done to our children and families for their tireless efforts and generosity. The final amount raised also included contributions through our JustGiving page and a generous donation from the FCJ Centre at St. Hugh’s. What an amazing achievement for a wonderful cause!
